SF 32 adds hair samples to the testing methods that may be used in private sector drug testing. Current law allows drug testing on samples of urine, saliva, breath and blood, if the testing standards have been adopted by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. Senate File 32 allows for testing hair samples, if testing standards have been cleared or approved for drug testing by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration.

SR3 proposes permanent rules for the Senate for the 87th General Assembly and makes several changes: Rule 10 allows points of personal privilege immediately prior to adjournment for the day. Previously, points were allowed when no motion was pending or other business was being considered by the Senate. Rules 12 and 52 are technical and remove the word “germaneness” and insert whether an amendment is germane. ….
