SF 424 – PPEL joint pilot projects

FLOOR ACTION:

SF 424 allows the Physical Plant and Equipment Levy (PPEL) to be used for joint community college and school district infrastructure projects. The bill only sets up a pilot project for one area. The bill bounced back from the House with a few new transparency and reporting requirements. The Senate accepted the House amendment, and the bill is en route to the Governor.
