Promoting jobs at McDonalds while firing teachers
Today State Senator Rob Hogg of Cedar Rapids pointed out the irony of Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds celebrating McDonald’s “National Day of Hiring” while Gov. Branstad insists on school budget cuts that will lay off an estimated 1500 teachers and school workers.
