Senate debate calendar for Thursday, February 25

Today, the Iowa Senate is scheduled to debate legislation which includes bills designed to:

  • Improve access to affordable health care (SF 2356)
  • Create an income tax check off for child abuse prevention (SF 2364)
  • Improve protections for victims of domestic abuse  (SF2357 and SF 2330)
  • Protect Iowa elections from being drowned in corporate cash  (SF 2354)
  • Strengthen grandparents’ rights (SF 2306 and SF 2302)
