Testimony on Republican plan to take health insurance away from 20,000 Iowa kids (Video)

On February 8, 2011, a senate subcommittee heard testimony on Republican plan SF 111, which takes health insurance away from 20,000 Iowa kids.  Guest speakers included Kim Carson from the Iowa Hawk-I board, Dr. Bery Engebretsen, Anita Smith from department of Human Services and the Administrator of Hawk-I, Mary O’Brien from Visiting Nurse Services, and Carrie Fitzgerald from the Child and Family Policy Center.
