(Video) Senate protects Iowa’s most vulnerable citizens

This week the Senate voted unanimously to ensure that residents at Iowa’s state licensed care facilities receive the best possible care.  Prior to 2010 the state was required to conduct inspections of these care facilities at least once every 30 months.  Currently, an inspection is only required if an official complaint is made.  The Senate’s bill would again require inspections on a 30 month basis.  Below is a video of Senator Pam Jochum and Senator Jeff Danielson speaking in support of the bill  to ensure that Iowa’s most vulnerable citizens are protected.
