ISU Professor Eugene Takle has written an assessment on climate change threats to Iowa. It shows that precipitation in Iowa is projected to increase by another 21% and stream flows will increase by 50% by the 2040s.
Iowa Public Television is broadcasting a program, “Living with Future Floods in Iowa,” on Thursday, June 4, from 8 to 8:30 p.m. An interview Senator Rob Hogg of Cedar Rapids did earlier this year will be included in this program.
